Although Magpie went into this one with a grip on the top of the league, the opposition couldnt be underrated. Having played two games less and seemingly managing to keep up with the top two in the division, Ruud van Ni-Ste-Lloyd would no doubt be a tough opposition.

Magpie started as you would expect from top of the table, they found themselves 3-0 up withinn the first 11 minutes of the match. Alex Brady and Jamie Longworth’s two goals brought Ruud van Ni-Ste-Lloyd right back in the game by the 18th minute; however a striker from George Vladuta ensured Magpie kept a two goal cushion. The lead soon changed hands as Adam, Rich and Michael scored 3 quick goals to take Ruud van Ni-Ste-Lloyd into the break with a slender lead.

With their first potential loss on the cards, Magpie showed what they were capable of in the second half. 4 unreplied to goals gave them the win and the points to keep their comfortable lead at the top of the table.
