Week three for SFC Club saw them taking on Stockport Eagles with a few new additions to their squad. Eagles can’t go anywhere this season and will be spending another campaign in League Two next season.

There’s really not a lot worth dwelling on for the new boys from this one, as the Eagles swooped with alarming regularity to go 8-0 up at the break. Ben Waugh grabbed 4 first half goals to go alongside two each from Alecs Paterson and Ryan McAndrew.

The second half actually managed to get worse, as the Waugh’s of Ben and Paul got a goal each, Paterson another two, McAndrew another 4 and Michael Winn a second half hat trick. Matthew Aked did at least get SFC on the board with a ‘consolation’ goal three minutes from time. It can only get better from here……
