Not A Chance vs Phantom Brazilians

Recap

Not A Chance went into this one in great form with 5 wins on the spin as they sat three points behind Jeremy Cheadle with a game in hand, and could go top this week if they could beat an inconsistent Phantom Brazilians, both in terms of which players will play, and how they will play when they get here!

It looked to be a good week for Phantom this week as Paul Wilkinson put them in front on 6 minutes, then doubled that lead on 14 before Callum Wild nipped in to pull one back for the Chancers three minutes later. Jimmy Leeson made it 3-1 on 19 minutes, but John Wildman kept Not A Chance in touch by poking in from close range three minutes before the break. The decisive point of the game came in the time that remained in the half as Leeson and Robin Hulme both scored to give Phantom a three goal cushion at the break.

That became 4 within three minutes of the restart as Matt Holbrook scored the goal that seemed to take the stuffing out of a Not A Chance team who seemed a little out of sorts this week. Two more goals for Wilkinson either side of a Hulme’s second put the result beyond doubt, with Phil Carroll’s goal for Not A Chance nothing more than a consolation as Phantom close the gap between themselves an the second promotion spot to just three points.
